Yes. A small deposit is required to confirm your tour, and the balance can be paid in cash or online. We’ll send you all payment details once you choose your tour.

We’ll send a checklist depending on your tour. But in general, bring:
• Sunscreen and sunglasses
• Comfortable shoes

• Swimwear & towel (for boat or island tours)

Yes. Your safety is our top priority. We avoid risky areas and take all necessary precautions — and we only work with trusted local partners.
Definitely not! We have different tour choices for you to pick that could focus on history, culture, nature and so on. But we must say that our Food Tour is our specialty!
We believe walking is one of the best ways to truly experience the city. That said, we keep walking stretches comfortable, with no more than 10 minutes at a time without a stop.
If you have any mobility concerns or special needs, just let us know in advance — we’ll gladly adapt the tour to make sure you’re fully comfortable and able to enjoy the experience.
For sure! Just let us know prior so we can make the necessary arrangements. We regularly take vegetarians, lactose intolerant and allergic guests. For people with serious allergies, we ask that they bring their emergency medicine just in case.
Absolutely! Our tours are great for all ages, and kids are more than welcome. Just keep in mind that anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the experience.

The term ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to “Rio4Fun”. The term ‘you’ refers to the traveler or guest who will join Rio4fun experiences.
We’re committed to offering our travelers an exceptional experience through carefully designed private tours. Since 2005, we’ve welcomed thousands of guests on city tours, food adventures, and side trips — always with transparent communication and respectful relationships with travelers, partners, and our team.

Safety & Responsibility
Your safety is our top priority. While we’ve never experienced incidents of theft or health issues during tours, guests acknowledge that by joining any activity, they do so at their own risk. Rio4Fun is not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, transportation delays, or third-party service providers.
Travel Insurance
We recommend all travelers have personal travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and belongings, especially for adventurous experiences like hang gliding or boat trips.
Final Notes
Rio4Fun reserves the right to adapt or modify the itinerary in response to weather, availability, or safety concerns, always aiming to offer the best possible experience.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and flexible as possible. Below you’ll find our cancellation policy, designed to keep things clear for everyone.
Full Refund
• Cancel up to 72 hours before your tour: 100% refund, no questions asked.
Partial Refund
• Cancel 48–72 hours before your tour: 50% refund
• Cancel less than 48 hours before your tour: no refund
No Shows
• If you don’t show up or arrive more than 30 minutes late, unfortunately, no refunds can be issued.
Special Dates – Carnival & New Year’s Eve
For tours booked during Carnival and New Year’s Eve, a special policy applies due to high demand:
• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund
• Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable
Weather-Dependent Tours
For experiences like boat tours, catch & cook, hang gliding, and helicopter flights, we may need to reschedule due to weather conditions.
If rescheduling is not possible on your end, we offer a full refund.
